in 10 countries within one year.

the course of the first part of the Feet of Flames World Tour more than
a million
spectators are expected.

Feet of Flames 2000 Tour received the highest promoting guarantee
for an indoor tour.
The
videos "Feet of Flames" and "Lord of the Dance" belong to the
most
selling
performance videos ever with more than 4.5 million world wide sold copies.
The two videos "Feet of Flames" and "Lord of the Dance" were
on top of the music
video charts in Germany for an incredible 51 weeks and have been on No.
2 for 40 weeks.
Michael
will perform 2 spectacular flute parts on the Feet of Flames Tour 2000.

than 300 assistants will be working behind the scenes every night.

tons of steel will be used to build the stage.

watt power is needed to enable the performance of the show.

trucks are used to transport the stage during the Feet of Flames 2000
tour from
one venue to the next.
The
dancers and the dressing assistants will be transported in 3 busses.

than 4,000 metres cables will layed out for the show.

dancers will perform every night together with Michael Flatley.
They will be chosen from all 4 Lord of the Dance ensembles, which are
on tour world wide.

than 250 spectacular costumes will be used in the production.
The
dancers will wear 200 pairs of shoes altogether every night.
Each pair of shoes needs 1,000 stitches, so that more than 50,000 stitches
will be on stage permanently.
During
each performance Michael burns more than 4,000 calories, this equal more
than 16 Mars bars.
Because
Michaels gives everything in every performance he loses more than 5 kg
of his weight.
On
days he performs he drinks nearly 4.5 litres of water.
At
each show one seat will remain empty, which is reserved by Michael for
his late grandmother, Annie, who was his biggest inspiration.
