Jean Leads Us On A Merry Dance

Three years ago, Riverdance star Jean Butler swapped her dancing shoes for the silver screen after spending too long in the shadow of her flamboyant co-star, Michael Flatley.

But yesterday she pulled them on and introduced a former accountant as the man who will star with her in the raunchiest Irish dance show yet, opening in November. Jean, 29, has devised, choreographed and produced the new spectacular, Dancing on Dangerous Ground, with her close friend Colin Dunne (pictured left).

Colin, 31, said: "We are appearing as Irish mythology's greatest lovers, the warrior Diarmuid and the princess Grainne. They didn't get that reputation by keeping their clothes on."

Indeed, promotional posters show the pair with sultry scowls---and no clothes.
