clang, the broom-sticks beat out their merciless rhythm and everyday movements become an ecstasy of dance.
But even good old Lennie Bernstein knew how to set the audience's pulse racing.

A spectrum ranging from traditional Irish tap dance through to classical dance
musical! Dance in all of its fascinating variety. Captivatingly dynamic scenes
and rousing melodies. FIRE OF DANCE is an astoundingly beautiful spectacle for all
dance enthusiasts. Besides own adaptations from STOMP and TAP DOGS, the show also features
original scenes and songs from WEST SIDE STORY, GREASE, LORD OF THE DANCE, A CHORUS LINE and FAME.
And, in addition to these rousing dance numbers, the audience will delight in the emotive
Irish ballads. A thrilling cavalcade of magnificent music.
FIRE OF DANCE - a dance show with three international dance ensembles. After
RIVERDANCE and LORD OF THE DANCE everybody knows what Irish Dance is. So who better to
bring this magic to the stage than JOEL HANNA and the IRISH DANCE COMPANY. Joel's career got underway in 1996 when he won the Australian tap-dance championships. In the years that followed, he went on to win the American championships three times in a row 1997 -1999. He joined Riverdance, followed by Dancing on Dangerous Ground, and has been with Fire of Dance since the winter of 2000.
With an almost obsessive passion, THE IRISH DANCE COMPANY has created its own form of dance.
This dance company combines traditional and modern elements to create something which is truly fascinating
and new.
Young, dance-crazy "stompers" also make up the ensembles of THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE and
the SYDNEY TAP FLAMES. Young actors and actresses who have broken new ground. These first-rate
ensembles perform song and dance to perfection, in a spectacle as is seldom experienced on the
old continent. Star soloists include ROSER FONT, who belonged to the original ensemble of Stomp
from 1998, and GUILLEM ALONSO who, in 1993, won the official World Tap Championship organised
by the International Dance Organisation. Ever since he has been dancing with the best step dancing
ensembles, including AMERICAN TAP DANCE ORCHESTRA, MANHATTAN TAP and STEPS AHEAD LOS ANGELES.
Two famous artistes from international stage productions, namely ANNA VAUGHAN and STEVE GREENWOOD
have been engaged with the tasks of direction and choreography.
The English artiste, ANNA VAUGHAN, started her career as a ballet dancer at Covent Garden in London,
but soon went on to join Maurice Bejart in Paris as a soloist. In 1962, she directed her first musical in
Graz and was so successful at this that she has received engagements at scores of famous theatres ever since.
At the famous Theater des Westens in Berlin, for example, she directed the German premiere of Peter Pan
starring Ute Lemper as the leading actor.
STEVE GREENWOOD completed his 3 years of dance training in London.
As early as 1992, as a young dancer and choreographer, he was voted Europe's best tap dancer!
His breath-taking choreography transforms simple Irish folk songs into inspirational dance works of art.
FIRE OF DANCE is a show where everything is performed live - dance, song and orchestra!
The FIRE OF DANCE ENSEMBLE live for one thing only - dance! And this is precisely what they
