A growing increase in the popularity of traditional Scottish and Celtic music prompted a pair of young musicians to start thinking of how they could take the music they grew up with to a worldwide audience. They figured that since none of the bigger music download companies were catering to the traditional, Celtic and roots music markets, they'd start their own!

Given the success of MP3 players and Apple's IPOD, Alasdair MacCuish and John-Angus Smith, both well-known Scottish traditional musicians, have certainly come up with a great idea in!
